Introducing our coaches for the EBF vs Bachar Houli Foundation Showcase Game.

When you bring together 1,000+ games of AFL experience, the knowledge in the room speaks for itself. 🙌🏽

Between them, they’ve lived every part of the AFL journey. Now, they’re passing that knowledge on; coaching, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation to chase their dreams both on and off the field.

Eddie is handing over the coaching duties for runner duties instead so he can be out on the field giving the fellas feedback directly... 👀

Neville Jetta

Nev played 159 games for the Melbourne Demons FC & since then has been an active board member of the EBF, while also working at Collingwood FC in their academies program whilst running a very successful program as head coach at Fitzroy Stars.

Bradley Hill

Three-time premiership winner, and Malcolm Blight Medalist, Brad has played 300 AFL games across Hawthorn, Fremantle, and St Kilda.

Zac Williams

Zac has played over 180 AFL games across GWS and Carlton, starring on the biggest stages including a Grand Final in 2019.

Wayne Milera

Wayney has played 143 AFL games for the Adelaide Crows, known for his calm decision-making, poise, and natural footy smarts.

This year he was awarded All Australian for his strong performance across the 2026 season.

Huge congratulations to Gary, Mum Lorelle, Dad Gary and the whole family across Fitzroy Crossing, Beagle Bay, Broome and Halls Creek on his AFL Futures squad selection! 👏

Still a long way to go, but we couldn’t be prouder or more excited for him. ❤️

Grand Final is here! 🔥

Saturday 15th Aug | 2:00pm | Crowther Oval; Brighton Grammar School 📍

Nothing makes us prouder than seeing some of the EBF Scholarship fellas playing in the APS Grand Final this weekend for Caulfield Grammar School

This achievement show the hard work and dedication of this group, valuing and committing to their education as much as their footy.

Gary, yr 11.
Harley, yr 12.
Boyden, yr 12.
Bubba Russ (emergency), yr 11.

We are proud of their commitment while living away from family and community to chase their dreams 👏

Last week, the EBF Team enjoyed a great morning at the Reconciliation SA National Reconciliation Week Morning Tea.

Eddie shared his story, the work of the Foundation, and what this year’s theme, “All in” means to him.

To be all in for reconciliation means being willing to step back and create space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to lead. It means listening, learning, supporting Indigenous-led solutions, and walking alongside communities, not steering the direction.

Thank you to Reconciliation SA for hosting such an important conversation and bringing people together on the journey towards being fully reconciled.

As a part of their Year 11 and 12 Sports and Recreation subject, some of our Academy athletes are spending their work experience units with us at the foundation. Time to get to work!
