Nothing makes us prouder than seeing some of the EBF Scholarship fellas playing in the APS Grand Final this weekend for Caulfield Grammar School

This achievement show the hard work and dedication of this group, valuing and committing to their education as much as their footy.

Last week, the EBF Team enjoyed a great morning at the Reconciliation SA National Reconciliation Week Morning Tea.

Eddie shared his story, the work of the Foundation, and what this year’s theme, “All in” means to him.

To be all in for reconciliation means being willing to step back and create space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to lead. It means listening, learning, supporting Indigenous-led solutions, and walking alongside communities, not steering the direction.

Thank you to Reconciliation SA for hosting such an important conversation and bringing people together on the journey towards being fully reconciled.

There’s a bit of about this 🏍️

Mackiah Jones - aka Showman - hails from the Central Australian community of Yuelamu/Mt Allan. He was nominated for the foundation by the community, and after acing his interview was selected to be a part of our September academy. His dazzling skills and smarts in the forward line make him a dangerous match-up for opposition players and a must-watch for spectators.
