Legacy Week runs from Sunday 30 August to Saturday 05 September 2026.

This is an opportunity to support the families of veterans who have given much in service of the nation.

35 ACU will be proudly supporting this initiative at Bunnings Broadmeadows and Bunnings Coburg this Sunday. If you’re in the area, consider coming down and buying a Legacy badge, a bear or make a donation.

Legacy Week is Legacy’s national fundraising and awareness campaign, dedicated to supporting the families of veterans who have given their life or health in defence of our nation. This year Legacy Week will run from Sunday 30 August to Saturday 5 September 2026, with our iconic Badge Day on Friday 4 September.

The National Launch of Legacy Week will be held on Monday 31 August 2026 in the Sculpture Garden at the Australian War Memorial Canberra. The Launch Ceremony will be followed by a reception at the AWM, proudly sponsored by Marsh.

Join us in honouring the service and sacrifice of our veterans by purchasing a Legacy badge, making a donation, or sharing Legacy’s message during Legacy Week. Together, we can make a difference for veteran families.

It was great to have two senior cadets visit the unit tonight.

33 Battalion Cadet Under Officer Olivia Ambrosini and Cadet Warrant Officer Class 1 Ben La, Brigade Regimental Sergeant Major both observed training and spoke to cadets about their experiences.

Both Olivia and Ben are former cadets of 35 ACU, great to see them in action in their senior roles within the Battalion and Brigade.
