‼️‼️WORKSHOP UPDATE‼️‼️

• DEREK’S WORKSHOP HAS BEEN MOVED TO 16TH OCTOBER!!

Derek, also known as Durk, is a dancer born in the Philippines and now based in Naarm (Melbourne). His love for dance started young, inspired by artists like Michael Jackson and the Jabbawockeez. In 2017, he began taking street dance classes and quickly fell deep into the culture.
While he’s explored many street dance styles over the years, Derek’s main passion and specialty is Locking. He’s always looking to learn more about the foundations, history, and culture behind the dance so he can continue to grow and express himself authentically.
For Derek, dance is more than just movement - it’s a space where he can fully be himself. It allows him to connect with others, express his personality, and stay grounded in who he is both on and off the dance floor.
Outside of training and battling, Derek runs The Jam - a regular open-style jam on Wednesdays aimed at bringing dancers together and building stronger connections within the community.

SEE YALL ON THE 16TH!!

• MARIO’S WORKSHOP HAS A NEW DATE!
> 17th OCTOBER

Mario started his dance journey in Australia, learning and growing through Hip-Hop and its old-school foundations. He is also a member of The Unguided. For him, dancing is about stepping onto the floor with a playful mindset, enjoying the music and letting it guide his movement. He loves the freedom of expressing himself through dance and the connection that happens when you move, exchange and communicate with the people around you.

SEE YOU GUYS ON THE 17TH!!
