We are thrilled to share that our student Wajeeha Raza has graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) from Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences!

Wajeeha was previously a part of our scholarship program in 2019-2020, and subsequently received Akademos Study Grant throughout her university degree. Wajeeha has shown resilience, commitment, and a passion for learning throughout this time. This milestone represents years of dedication, perseverance, and hard work on her part.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of this journey and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make in her community and beyond.

For many of us, a New Year’s resolution is about small changes.
Drink more water. Go to the gym. Eat healthier.

But for millions of girls in Afghanistan, the resolution is much simpler, and much harder:
go to school.

Education is not a given. It’s something they are still fighting for.

Akademos works to keep education within reach by supporting girls and students facing financial and systemic barriers to learning. Your support helps fund school fees, college enrolments, and pathways to education that would otherwise be closed.
