Buzz Pollination is a thing of Beauty, and something only our native bees are capable of doing!!!

The wing muscle relaxing vi****or bees and the head banging metal amegilla (blue banded bees)

Did you know that about 12% of flowering plants around the benefit or rely on buzz pollination! This also includes a number of fruits!

Another reason why we should appreciate and protect the biodiversity of our ecosystems! This cannot be replaced by honey bees nor by man! 👊🏽❤️

🐸Turtle frog - Myobatrachus gouldii - Kyooya

Named for their resemblance to a baby turtle that lacks a shell, they actually don’t spend any time in water, and instead come out of their sandy underground burrows during summer rain.

At just 5-7cm in length, these little, naked-looking frogs are understandably made jokes about for looking a lot like a blokes you know what 🤣

What a beauty 🥹❤️

Getting outside is an Act of Rebellion⁉️🤨

Think about it…every single aspect of our lives are slowly but surely encouraging us to being consumers, we are being told that we need the newest clothes, the fastest cars, and the most money possible. 💰💸

Large corporations are profiting off our attention span, our insecurities, our desperation to fit in…exploiting us at every corner and (allegedly) buying our politicians to make sure that they get every handout and tax break possible.🤦‍♂️

So what better act of rebellion than to step the hell outside and go and appreciate what Mother Nature has given us for free, and what Indigenous people have spent thousands of generations caring for, so that we can experience the true beauty of the outdoors. 🏞️

We are all playing a part of this, witnessing in real time, a movement being generated to escape consumerism, and go an enjoy nature! 🌱

Join a landcare or volunteer group, a birdwatching club, an environmental society, go on a hike, clean up a local waterway, and REBEL! 👊🏽
