As 2025 comes to a close, we reflect on a year marked by both progress and profound loss. We join Australians across the country in mourning the lives lost in the tragic attacks at Bondi, and we hold the victims, their families and all those affected in our thoughts.

Despite this devastating tragedy, 2025 has been a year of meaningful milestones for the General Sir John Monash Foundation, including welcoming our 300th John Monash Scholar. Chief Executive Officer Ross Youngman shares a brief reflection on the year and what lies ahead for our community in 2026.
