Some of our Chain Reaction alumni had the pleasure of taking a tour of The Prince Charles Hospital recently to gain a valuable insight into how the fundraising efforts of the 2026 Brisbane Chain Reaction Challenge are making a difference.

A special thank you to Dr Dave Wood, Clinical Director of the Children’s Emergency Department, and Meenu Wadhwa, Child Life Therapist, for generously sharing their time, expertise and firsthand experiences.

For those interested, you can read the impact report capturing four decades of improved health outcomes across Queensland and beyond here https://www.thecommongood.org.au/impact-report-2026/

Seven days. Hundreds of kilometres. One shared purpose.

What started as a challenge became something bigger and we managed to do something far beyond what we could have done on our own.

This is what the Chain Reaction Challenge is all about. Shared effort and impact.

Every turn of the pedals has been for kids who need support, opportunity, and a better future. Thanks for being part of it, whether it be by following the story or making a donation.

The journey continues.....

The Queen stage of this year's Sydney challenge was a true test. But one that riders and crew met with trademark stoicism. Check out how it went down through the lens of our talented videographer
Oh, and if you haven't donated, there is still time to do so via the link in our bio! With riders still having one more day to conquer, there would be nothing better for them to see the fundraising needle continuing to climb!
