*Major announcement*

Many of you would have seen the recent articles in the mainstream press and on 7 news that on May 5th, our venue was caught up in the recent spate of firebombing attacks against licensed venues in Melbourne.

We appreciate that this incident has caused concern for our communities and understand that it may have be unnerving for some.

The safety of our punters, our DJ's and our crew is our utmost priority so we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event.

We appreciate that many of you may have already made arrangements for the event including booking travel, accommodation and purchasing of tickets. Both 'Her House' and 'The Melbourne Hardhouse Collective' apologise to you for the inconvenience that this has caused.

Tickets will be refunded to you in the coming days and any shortfall from booking fees will be personally refunded to you by us, we will clarify how we can make that work asap.

Both promotions will be meeting in the next few weeks to plan another event and will communicate to you when and where that will be. Rest assured that this incident hasn't interrupted our future plans to run more awesome events for our communities including Skool of Hardhouse 3 in October this year.

Well the votes were collected and we had to go to an independent adjudicator to separate our winner.

Congratulations to Tony for his fabulous embodiment of the schoolyard teacher. Tony complete with pipe and clipboard successfully pulled up and awarded several students detention for their inadequate dress on the night.

We really loved the effort our punters went to at Skool2 and Tony’s attention to detail certainly won him the award of best dressed on the night. Tony wins a lifetime VIP AAA Melbourne Hardhouse Collective Membership for all future events.

Ok so here's your full lineup. The weather on Saturday is now forecast at 31 and no rain which is absolutely perfect.

Food will be available at the venue and we have made sure they have a decent selection for you all so get down early, eat and chill and catchup. We have the Main room music piped out to the courtyard to keep you moving.

Musically, as you can see from our lineup, we have meticulously assembled a fine selection of Australian based DJ’s to get your feet stomping. This year we have chosen more House and Tech artists for your aural pleasure. We even have our very own Vice Principal Tara Reynolds smashing out a disco set before we transition over to our harder beats.

The main event runs from 4-12 but we also have detention from 12-3 for all the naughty children. 2 more sleeps peeps.

Final Roll Call!

Just 5 sleep until Skool2 at Ladida. We picked Ladida for its awesome main room and outdoor courtyard. Given the time of year, we wanted to take advantage of the warm weather and longer light. The weather on Saturday is forecast 28 and no rain which is spot on.

Food will be available and we have asked the Venue to ensure we have a decent selection so get down early, eat and chill and catchup. We will ensure the Main room music will be piped out to the courtyard to keep you moving.

Musically, we have meticulously assembled a fine selection of Australian based DJ’s to get your feet stomping. This year we have chosen more House and Tech artists for your aural pleasure. Our full lineup will be release on Wednesday so you can plan your day. The main event runs from 4-12 but we also have detention in the basement (free for all Skool2 ticket holders) from 12-3 for all the naughty children.

Don’t worry if you haven’t organised or don’t intend to come in dress up, it isn’t mandatory rather highly recommended and encouraged. This year we will once again be awarding special prize to the best dressed as determined by the Melbourne Hardhouse Collective.
