Part-time (Fixed-Term) Job Opportunity for people in Victoria

Dementia Australia has partnered with community organisations to support culturally responsive initiatives that increase awareness, understanding, and early prevention of dementia. Through this sponsorship, the Australian Burundian Community in Victoria Inc. has been funded to deliver a targeted Dementia Awareness and Prevention Project designed specifically for the Burundian community. This initiative aims to build knowledge about dementia, reduce stigma, encourage early help-seeking, and strengthen community capacity to recognise and respond to cognitive health concerns.
The project will deliver facilitator training, information sessions, social media education, and collaborative stakeholder engagement to ensure that Burundian families, elders, and community leaders have access to accurate, culturally appropriate information and support. This partnership reflects Dementia Australia’s commitment to empowering multicultural communities and improving equitable access to dementia-related resources and services across Victoria.
