Introducing Jordy Bradley as the Manager of Banyule Support and Information Services (BANSIC).
Driven by a deep dedication to social justice, Jordy brings over a decade of experience in diverse roles in the not-for-profit and community sectors, across Australia and Asia.

Prior to joining BANSIC Jordy spent five years at the Parliament of Victoria as a community engagement advisor, advocating for and working alongside community groups and residents in Melbourne.

We are excited to welcome Jordy to BANSIC, and we look forward with anticipation to the future under her leadership.

BANSIC will be closing for the Christmas break on
Monday 22 December 2025 at 3.00pm and reopening on
Monday 12 January 2026 at 10.00am.

Our team will be taking a short break to rest and recharge before we head into the new year ready to continue supporting our community 💙

Families can receive toys and support through a Diamond Valley Community Support (DVCS) referral or from one of our community partners:
Banyule MCH, Banyule Support and Information Centre Inc. , Greenhills & Wellington St Neighbourhood Houses, Holstep Health, Nillumbik MCH, Olympic Village Preschool, Supported Playgroups, and 3081 Angels .
🎄 Referrals close 5 December, so please reach out early.

I am deeply disappointed and concerned by Australia Post’s decision to close the West Heidelberg Post Office at the Bell St Mall.

This closure will impact our community, limiting access to essential postal services and banking for many local residents.

I have written to Australia Post to ask them to reconsider their decision.
