-🏆 Congratulations to Neil and Zhixin! 🎉

We're so proud to celebrate Neil Walsh and Zhixin Chen, winners of the inaugural 2026 Adult Learners' Week Learning Together Award!

The pair met through our beginner English classes, where Neil volunteers as a tutor and Zhixin is a learner. What began as English conversation practice has grown into a wonderful friendship built on cultural exchange and shared learning.

While Zhixin develops his English, Neil has been learning Mandarin and exploring Chinese culture.

Their story is a beautiful reminder that learning goes both ways! ❤️

Well done, Neil and Zhixin! We’re so proud of you both. 👏

A special thank you to Diana and Kerrie for recognising their wonderful partnership and taking the time to put forward their award nomination!
