Celebrating Culture, Community & Our Young People

Looking back at Africa Night in June, we’re proud to share some special moments from an evening that brought our community together to celebrate African culture while raising funds for Kowanj’s Youth Program.

The Youth Program provides practical support to young people and families, helping remove barriers to participation and opportunity. This includes support with sports participation, uniforms, equipment and other essential needs that allow young people to stay engaged, connected and involved in their communities.

Africa Night brought together young people, families, performers, community members and supporters through music, food, culture and celebration, while raising funds to help continue this important work.

Every contribution helps Kowanj create more opportunities for young people to participate, build confidence, develop their talents and feel supported in reaching their potential.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, donated and supported Africa Night.

Celebrating our culture. Supporting our young people. Strengthening our community.

Client Success Story: Exploring New Career Opportunities

On Friday, 17 July 2026, Sami and Tiana attended the Melbourne Career Expo at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre through Kowanj Australia.

The expo provided an opportunity to connect with employers, explore education and training pathways, receive career advice, and learn about current employment opportunities.

Experiences like these help build confidence, expand professional networks, and support clients on their journey towards meaningful employment.
