UMSU Southbank is a department of the University of Melbourne Student Union (UMSU). We support Southbank students and organise epic events throughout the year!

UMSU Southbank are here to represent and uphold your rights as both a student and an artist. So if you ever need help with anything whether it be legal, welfare, access to the food bank or tying your shoe laces, come and find us on level 2 of the Southbank library or just chuck us a message on messenger/email. Southbank Pop-Up #1 – Pizza Party for the Performing Arts Building

You’ll usually find us in the student hub, at the Red Shed BBQ or in our office (level 2 of the library) but this semester, we’re coming for you! 😤

As an alternative to collectives this semester, UMSU Southbank Department (us 😚) are holding Pop-Ups. We want to meet you! Yes! You! So, here’s our first outreach – to the beloved liquorice allsorts building.

Acting, Production, Theatre students but also Masters of Directing, Dramaturgy and all the other cohorts we’ve yet to meet; if you have regular classes in the PA Building this one is especially for you. Come chat with us and have a slice in the student lounge! 🍕🎉

In collaboration with for their ; learn how to write a script and also how to put it on the floor. A great introduction to writing theatre or an opportunity to practice your skill and meet new friends and collaborators.
