We believe the future of cultural heritage in Australia should be Indigenous-led. That is why we are helping Australian and Torres Strait Islander communities gain experience and skills in cultural heritage management, using a dual focus of understanding and conserving the past, while working towards a sustainable, innovative and collaborative future for Australia.

🖤💛❤️ Stronger Together

Sometimes the people around us may be doing it tough without showing obvious signs.

That's why a simple conversation can make a real difference.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples share a strong connection through culture, community, Country, and shared experiences. But no matter who we are or where we live, everyone can face challenges from time to time. Taking the time to check in with family, friends, colleagues, and community members can help people feel supported, valued, and connected.

Ask your mob, in your way, R U OK? Because when we look out for each other, we're stronger together.

The Heart of Healthy Ecosystems

🌎Lakes support countless species, provide freshwater resources, help regulate the climate, and create opportunities for communities around the world.

At Everick Foundation, we believe that protecting natural environments is a shared responsibility. This World Lake Day, let's raise awareness of the challenges facing our freshwater ecosystems and work together towards a more sustainable future. Our platypus friends will 💙 you for it.

Every lake matters. Every action makes a difference.

🦆 Who Designed the Platypus?

A duck's bill. A beaver's tail. Webbed feet. And it lays eggs.

Nature really said, "Let's try something different." 😆

This Platypus Month, we're celebrating one of Australia's most extraordinary animals and the freshwater habitats that help it thrive.

Take some time this month to learn more about the incredible platypus and why protecting our waterways matters.

🌿Inspired by the Leaders of Tomorrow

Young people are the future, but they are also the keepers of stories, traditions, and knowledge that have been passed down for generations.

This International Youth Day, Everick Foundation recognises the importance of supporting Indigenous young people to learn about, celebrate, and share their culture and heritage. When cultural knowledge is passed from Elders to younger generations, it helps preserve identity, strengthen communities, and ensure traditions continue to thrive. We’re always inspired by the strength of young leaders and the importance of intergenerational cultural connections.

Every story remembered, every tradition practised, and every piece of knowledge shared helps build a bridge between the past and the future 👣
