This extends to the enduring connection Aboriginal peoples have to country, including decision-making linked to the natural and urban landscapes we walk, work and play on every day.

For many First Nations communities across Australia, dance holds deep cultural significance. It can share histories, honour Ancestors, teach younger generations, and strengthen community identity. Each dance carries meaning, from celebrating important events to passing on cultural knowledge through movement, song, and Country.

We’re honoured to have witnessed these moments during last year’s NAIDOC Week celebrations in Theodore, Queensland, and we remain committed to supporting the ongoing preservation of cultural practices in all their diversity.
