As of the 1st of July 2023 the Berwick Leisure Centre will no longer be managed by the YMCA, bringing to an end 25+ years of fantastic programs.

Due to the extreme temperatures inside the gymnastics hall ALL gymnastics classes at both Berwick Leisure Centre & Casey Stadium have been cancelled for tonight (17/2)

Classes at Endevaour Hills Leisure Centre will still go ahead as usual.

There’s still time to provide a child with a swimming lesson this summer, which could save their life.

*According to the ‘Royal Life Saving Society - Australia National drowning report’, 38 children under 17 died from drowning last year. Help prevent a generation of non-swimmers by providing more children access to essential swimming lessons.

So many children don’t get the opportunity to learn to swim due to not being able to afford it.

When you donate just $20, you are helping these children be confident and have fun in the water this summer.

Holiday Giving Appeal – Gift a child a swimming lesson! 🎁

Drowning deaths continue to rise each year, and we know a generation of kids have missed out on essential swimming lessons during lockdown. Confidence in the water is a skill for life, and we want to ensure our kids don’t miss out on these basic lifesaving skills.

When you donate $20, you gift a child the opportunity to learn to swim in one of our Y recreation centres and potentially save a life.

We rely on the generosity of our community to raise funds for people who cannot afford swimming lessons.

Last year we raised over $1,600 – which meant 80 children learnt to swim. Let’s aim to smash that goal this year!
