Honoured to have been selected to represent Thailand at the Premier’s Multicultural Gala Dinner 2026, proudly presented by the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) and Multicultural Affairs Victoria.

Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) on 22 August 2026, this year’s theme, “Stories of Us,” celebrated the diverse ancestry, migration journeys and cultural heritage that make Victoria such a vibrant multicultural community. With more than 1,200 guests in attendance, the evening brought together communities through cultural performances, traditional customs, a multicultural bazaar and shared culinary experiences.

We are incredibly proud that our team was chosen to represent Thai culture—the only Asian nation featured among seven cultural performances presented throughout the evening.

Our performance, “Believe in Beliefs,” explored the spiritual traditions and Buddhist beliefs deeply rooted in Thai culture. Through traditional movement, ritual-inspired choreography and storytelling, we shared a glimpse into Thailand’s rich cultural identity before the official opening of the Gala Dinner.

Celebrating 10 incredible years of the Thailand Grand Festival in Darwin! 🇹🇭✨

Right in the heart of Darwin City, we were proud to bring the beauty of Thailand to the stage through performances inspired by all four regions — North, Northeast, Central and South.

A celebration of culture, tradition and the spirit of Thainess, bringing everyone together from day to night. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to the Northern Territory Thai Association for allowing us to be part of this special 10-year journey. Here’s to many more years of sharing Thai culture with Darwin! 🇹🇭🇦🇺
