We also advocate on behalf of the animals we are unable to rescue. Dreamer's Hen Rescue is an animal rights organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming farmed animals, predominantly chickens. We also perform advocacy work on behalf of the animals we are unable to rescue. We have chosen to dedicate our work to Dreamer, a hen who dreamed of a better world, one where people choose kindness over cruelty.

Today we are saddened to hear of the passing of our fellow rescue friend and comrade Lizzie, of Melbourne Chicken Rescue fame.

Lizzie was a kind soul and a force to be reckoned with and we consider ourselves privileged to have known and have learnt from her. We are thinking of those who will miss her most and know that her legacy will live on through any who crossed her path.

Rest in Power Lizzie 🤘🏼
