We opened our first restaurant in 2015. It's been both terrifying and terrific, stressful and successful. What we noticed along the way was a lack of community and support between fellow restaurant and venue owners. If it is there, we couldn't manage to tap into it. So we decided to create our own network of like-minded entrepreneurs and hospitality professionals. A communit
y that aims to encourage discussion; a place where we can help each other out, share what we're learning, and grow our businesses faster. There's no right or wrong way to do things...but in the process of finding out what works for us, we might inspire others. Knives Out Network will begin broadcasting a podcast in July 2017. We also have a Mastermind Group for Melbourne restaurant owners, which meets up once a month to talk about current issues in the industry - and contribute to finding solutions.
