The Boys' Brigade 33rd Vic Boronia We are an active Boys' Brigade community providing fun challenging recreational activities for Prep to Year 12 (5 to 18 years old)

The Boys' Brigade is a Uniform Organisation. Its activities promotes the habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline and Self-Respect. Its activities includes games, life skills and challenges that builds a boys self esteem, confidence and reliance. We are part of The Boys’ Brigade movement, that was the first uniformed youth organisation in the world, spread over 60 countries. Our founder, Sir William Alexander Smith founded The Boys’ Brigade in 1883, who combined marching and fun activities to help boys develop and grow their character with a foundation on Christian values. You do not need to be a Christian or go to church to be part of our Boys' Brigade community.

As part of our Senior Section Expedition Class, our officers demonstrate essential campcraft skills — including how to correctly and efficiently set up a tent.

By learning directly from experienced leaders, our seniors gain confidence in outdoor skills, safety awareness, and teamwork. These demonstrations help ensure that every expedition is not only enjoyable, but well-prepared and responsibly led.

Whether wearing the classical Boys’ Brigade uniform or the contemporary uniform, our members begin each Boys’ Brigade night at Opening Parade — standing smart, focused, and ready for the program ahead.

Wearing uniform teaches boys to take pride in how they present themselves, to pay attention to detail, and to look smart and prepared as they begin each Boys’ Brigade night. It’s about learning to stand tall, feel confident, and respect both themselves and the group they belong to.

Opening Parade reminds our members that looking neat and presentable isn’t just for parade — it’s a habit that carries into everyday life.

🇦🇺🇸🇬 The Boys' Brigade Singapore Tour Highlights 2026

From 22–29 September, our team of 20 members and 4 officers from The Boys’ Brigade 33rd Victoria Boronia from Australia travelled to Singapore for an unforgettable week of fellowship, cultural exchange and adventure.

For many, this was their first experience with BB internationally — broadening horizons, building friendships and experiencing the worldwide Boys’ Brigade community. 🌏

A huge thank you to The Boys’ Brigade Singapore and everyone who welcomed us! 💙
