TreeProject

TreeProject TreeProject is a Victorian not-for-profit dedicated to revegetating our land — one seedling at a time.

Join us in restoring ecosystems, supporting farmers, and planting a greener future. TreeProject acknowledges Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants and traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work to return healthy, sustainable indigenous ecosystems to the land. TreeProject would like to expand its network of enthusiastic and dedicate

d volunteer growers to propagate native seedlings that will be used to put endemic trees back on the land. These seedlings will be used to establish wildlife corridors, lower the water table and improve our water quality, help tackle salinity and soil erosion and provide shelter for stock on rural land.

Got bored tweens or teens and want to inspire them to love the land?

Why not bring them along and get them to bring their mates? And as their taxi driver, you’ve got a great excuse to be part of it too.

Become a part of the solution and plant the forests of tomorrow.

One day, their children will sit beneath the shade of trees we may never see fully grown.

That’s the beautiful thing about planting trees — it’s an act of hope, care, and legacy.

So join us as we restore native habitat and create a healthier future for generations to come.

There’s something powerful about being outdoors, getting your hands in the soil, and knowing you’re helping shape a living future that keeps growing long after you leave. 🌳

On 13 May, we welcomed the team from KnowBe4 to Healesville for a fantastic day of planting alongside TreeProject volunteers. Together, we planted 750 indigenous trees to help restore habitat, support biodiversity and contribute to healthier landscapes for the future.

A big thank you to Tom & Steve for getting behind the camera and the entire KnowBe4 team for getting their hands dirty and making a meaningful impact in the field. 🌱

We love seeing businesses connect with nature and community through hands-on environmental action. DM if you would like your business to join us at a tree planting day.

Note: This is an AI-based image used for creative purposes; apparently, hugging trees isn't trendy at the moment. However, we are always on the lookout for real people enjoying nature. If you feel inspired to hug a tree, please connect with a team leader and snap a real-life photo for us — we’d love to feature authentic moments from the day.

20 years of growth 🌱

These trees were once tiny seedlings, grown and planted by our amazing TreeProject volunteers. Two decades on, they stand as a powerful reminder of what community, care and long term commitment to our environment can achieve.

This National Volunteer Week, we celebrate every volunteer who has helped make lasting change possible.

Your year to volunteer could help shape the next 20 years and beyond.
