FutureVN Funding towards Underdeveloped Rural Environment of Vietnam
(Grassroots independent nonprofit organi Our future looks good! Will our future be as good?

Growing up in Australia, our group has a few things in common; we are all lucky enough to be raised and educated in this fortunate country. We have endless opportunities, limitless resources, exceptional health care and a very supportive system where we get to pick and choose what we want to do with our lives. Commonly, we all share the same background.Born in war torn Vietnam, our parents had to

risk their lives to bring us all to this lucky country. What would our lives be like if we didn’t leave Vietnam? Over the years, there’s a realization that Vietnam is still a struggling third world country. Children are being forced to drop out of school simply because they cannot afford it. An absence of medicine and nutrients result in high mortality rates amongst children, especially under the age of 5. These facts are preventable and we can do something to help! FUTURE VN was created as we all shared a passion to build a better future for the next generation who are not as fortunate as us. Children as young as 6 should not be working, they need to be in schools! Our vision is to bring children from poor rural communities into schools. Education is the passport to a better future. Our primary focus right now and for the coming year is to support the children who cannot afford to go to school. We also aim to build a scholarship program. Our secondary focus is to provide infants with necessary nutrients & sanitations (e.g. milk and nappies) and to support new parents who cannot afford these basic needs. Our third focus is to put aside some funds we have raised into a fun day trip. The idea is to take a group of children (sick children, orphans) on a day of fun activities to boost their mentality and bring a smile to their faces. FUTURE VN is proud to be working in collaboration with BBA and the Vietnamese Business Guide. With plenty of events planned for 2013, there will be a lot of opportunities throughout the year to show your support and donate to a good cause – the Future of Vietnam’s children!
