Today is World Gratitude Day, and there’s one group of people we’re especially grateful for at Social Walks. 💛

Our incredible volunteers, or Vesties, as we call them. 🦺

Every Sunday morning, our Vesties give their time to welcome new walkers, lead the way, support the group, take photos and help create the friendly, inclusive atmosphere that makes Social Walks what it is.

As we continue to grow, so does the contribution of our volunteer community. We genuinely couldn’t do it without them.

A huge thank you to every Vestie who pulls on a volunteer vest and helps people walk, connect and feel part of something. 💛

🚨 PSA: Quick reminder to pre-register for your Social Walk if you can 🙌

It’s not compulsory but it does helps our Vesties know how many people to expect and makes planning ahead for each walk a little easier. It also means we can let you know if anything changes, like weather, meeting points or cancellations.

And if your plans change, no stress at all. It’s really easy to cancel your registration in the app 👍

This World Mental Health Day, Nathan, Adam and Grant will walk 100 km to help fund 100 volunteer vests.
