Join us Sunday at 10am as we continue our series in Matthew.
Kingdom Relationships Restored (Matthew 18:1–35)
Jesus shows what relationships look like in his kingdom. True greatness is found in humility, care for the vulnerable, restoration of those who wander, reconciliation when relationships fracture, and a willingness to forgive others as God has forgiven us. Note: study questions for the message are released on the church’s sermon page on the Monday after each sermon, and to find them, go here and scroll until you find the Sunday listed: https://wcc.org.au/podcasts/media/series.)
Coffee Bar opens from 9.30am, all welcome.

Coffee and tea will be available before the service from 9:30-9:55am and again following the service.

THIS SUNDAY 4th OCTOBER 10AM:

Come Home for Our 80th Sunday School Anniversary Celebration
On 6 October 1946, our Sunday School began. Permission was granted to use the local hall until our own building, Warrandyte Gospel Chapel in Yarra Street, was established. The hall was made available free of charge, and on that first Sunday, 6 October 1946, Sunday School opened with F. McIntosh, R. Wells, T. Spencer, Mrs Wells, Mrs Hayes and Mrs M. Speer faithfully serving as the teaching team. An incredible 70 scholars attended that very first Sunday, laying the foundation for a ministry that has touched generations of children and families over the past 80 years.
Were you part of the Sunday School at Warrandyte Gospel Chapel? Perhaps you were one of the many children who eagerly gathered each Sunday, a dedicated teacher who faithfully shared God's Word, or a parent who helped behind the scenes. Wherever your story fits, we'd love to welcome you back.
On Sunday, 4 October 2026, Warrandyte Community Church invites you to celebrate 80 years of the start of ministry. Together we'll look back on the rich history of the work through historic photos, treasured memories, music from the past and present, and stories spanning the generations. Most importantly, we'll give thanks for God's faithfulness and honour the countless men and women who invested their time, love and faith into the lives of children over the past eight decades.
Whether it's been a few years or many decades since you last walked through our doors, this is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends, reminisce about the Sunday School days you shared, and celebrate the lasting impact this ministry has had on so many lives. Following the anniversary service, please stay and enjoy lunch and fellowship as we continue sharing memories together.
We hope you'll come home and be part of this very special occasion as we celebrate 80 years of God's faithfulness from generation to generation.
Please Register via our Website.
