2nd Newport Scout Group

Once again our Group will be participating in Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday March 1 from 9am – 12pm.

So what is it all about?
🌱 Purpose: Raise awareness of environmental protection and sustainability.
♻️ Mission: Reduce waste through teamwork and community engagement.
🚮 Goal: Remove and recycle as much rubbish as possible in our local areas.

We will be cleaning around our local community, targeting the Newport Lakes area.

We encourage all Cubs, Scouts and Venturers to participate and be involved in this venture. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes, sunscreen and a hat and to bring along a water bottle.

2nd Newport Scout group will provide gloves, garbage bags etc. and this will count towards youth members achieving their community.

All youth members must wear their scarf and meet at the Newport Lakes carpark at 8.50am and can be collected from Newport Lakes at 12pm.

Find us at the Scout Hall from 9.00 AM to 4:00 PM. It’s a great way to support the group, be involved in a great community event and listen to some great music.

So what is it all about?

🌱 Purpose: Raise awareness of environmental protection and sustainability.
♻️ Mission: Reduce waste through teamwork and community engagement.
🚮 Goal: Remove and recycle as much rubbish as possible in our local areas.

By participating in a Clean Up event, we'll be making a positive impact on our environment. By joining us, you'll be contributing to a cleaner and healthier community for all.

We will be cleaning around the Market St Reserve, the Newport Station Car-Park and general area of Market St with other members of our local community.

We encourage all Cubs, Scouts and Venturers to participate and be involved in this venture. This will count towards their community. Mark the date in the calendar, we'd love to see you all there!!
