We had the opportunity to visit the Embassy while in Canberra and we were warmly received by such a kind and generous team. It was truly inspiring to meet people working every day to represent and support Latin Americans in the region. 🤝

Spaces like these remind us of the importance of connection, representation, and community beyond borders. There’s so much meaningful work happening behind the scenes — and we’re grateful to have witnessed a part of it.

Thank you for the warm welcome and for the work you do 💛

Throughout 2025, we proudly delivered the project ‘Finding your place in Australia / Integrándonos en Australia’.

These workshops created a safe, culturally sensitive space for participants to share their migrant journeys openly — without fear or stigma. More importantly, they fostered meaningful connections, validated lived experiences, and strengthened participants’ sense of belonging within the Australian community.

The project aimed to increase belonging and support the integration of migrant communities into Australian society by:

-Fostering social cohesion
-Developing a sense of belonging and resilience
-Encouraging participation in Australian society
-Increasing understanding of multiculturalism

We invite you to explore the outcomes of these workshops in the slides.

A heartfelt thank you to Scanlon Foundation for supporting this important initiative and helping us create spaces where stories are shared, voices are heard, and communities grow stronger together.
