A HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed! We'd like to share an update from the STEM camp delivered by Riley Orton Foundation Org - ROF, Kisumu, Kenya in December 2023. 85 students attended the 2-week camp, building skills in coding, maths, robotics, climate solutions, and even yoga. Thought about donating to a Sunflower project, but not sure how much of your money will get there? We can tell you now: all of it.
We are 100% volunteer-run. We don’t pay salaries, we don’t rent office space, and most of our operating resources are donated. In all, less than $500 a year goes to expenses other than direct funding for our partners.
And what about our partners? They’re working on the ground delivering services and providing resources directly to girls and young women. Teaching, mentoring, distributing school and healthcare materials to make sure girls are safe in school. That's where your donation will go.
