Victorian Indigenous Nurseries Co-op (VINC) We love indigenous plants! Growing for the Merri, Plenty and Yarra catchments. Community owned and operated for over 30 years.

VINC is a not-for-profit plant nursery that has been producing local indigenous flora from the north and east of Melbourne for supply to local government and government agencies, community groups and schools, landscape contractors and members of the public since 1984. VINC also occasionally runs propagation workshops and fauna information sessions as well as supporting Friends of the VINC Wetlands

. Originally known as 'Trees Galore', VINC started life in 1983 as a small project based organisation at Moreland High School. After a couple of years, we established a modest production/retail nursery at CERES in Brunswick, and finally moving to our present location in Fairfield in 1995. We collect seed from local sources to ensure that our plants are as genetically close as possible to the ones that would have naturally occurred here. Currently we are able to supply plants suitable for the inner, northern and north eastern/western suburbs of Melbourne, bounded loosely by Richmond, Ascot Vale, Keilor, Sunbury, Beveridge, Whittlesea, Eltham, Heidelberg, Balwyn and Camberwell.
