Victorian Cross Country League Whether you would prefer the occasional run or want to compete weekly, we would love you to have you join us.

The Victorian Cross Country League holds weekly races throughout metropolitan Melbourne from April until September with distances ranging from 5 to 10 kilometres.

In Bendigo we had an 8km race at St Anne's Winery. We did well and Congrats to all the runners:-

Men Premier team- 4th
Will Lovett- 3rd overall - 25.25
Michael Ryde - - 27.34
Gerry Stamoulis- - 27.42
Liam Stocky- - 27.51
Ash Cowen - 28.17
Hayden Squance- 28.22

Men's Div. 5 - 9th
Daniel Lawlor - 102nd - 29.44
Fraser Murray- 253rd - 38.46
We where down 2 runners so this was a good effort!

Women Div. 3 - 7th
Meg Deane- 35.21
Corina Kapusta- 37.22
Olivia Bury- 38.01
We were 1 runner short so also a great effort

A HUGE congrats to Will Lovett! Well done Champs 🏆 3rd overall is a fantastic achievement!

Now for a catchup for the Jells Park relays!
First of all, we received our winning penant for last year's win in Div. 2. Our hard working, consistent and down right great guy, Fraser Murray picked it up for us! Now to times and places:-

Men Premier a very close race - 4th

Our Mdiv 1 - premier team came a very decent 6th with Will Lovett running 14.09 and 10th overall. There were 6 runners in this team:-

Thank you Julian Harris for the action snaps of the Burnley Half Marathon held on Saturday!

Well done to all our runners, Men's Div.2 was 7th and good on you Olivia!

OK, I added Saturday points with the Ladder points and I believe we are 102 points equal with South Melbourne. It will be down to the Tan relays for the ultimate win. It is amazing that as a very small club we are on our way to the Premier. It shows the dedication and strength of our runners and President!

Why not come along 20th September to cheer them on!

Congrats 👏 to our Men's Div. 2! They won the 15km in Ballarat last weekend.

The team is now winning the division with 2 races left. Next is the Burnley 1/2 marathon and the last race of the series is the Tan relays. If they win this Division the team will join the Elite in Div. 1.

Well done to Meg Deane for representing at a longer distance I think than usual!
