💕Aster is looking for his forever home in Victoria 💕

Aster is a 5 month old Golden Retriever x Poodle.

He is a little shadow following you everywhere and happily asking for cuddles. He loves to sleep by your feet and loves his food.

Aster absolutely loves his toys and will happily chase, and play with his toys and stuffed teddies endlessly.

He loves to go for walks, often sniffing the trees and grasses along the way.

He is a water baby, playing in the rain or digging and splashing in water bowls until they're completely empty!

Aster has an adorable cheekiness, he loves to bring his toys to you for approval often times asking you to throw it for him, but only a couple of times before he takes off with it on his own.

Toilet training is going very well, however he will still need consistency and guidance, to keep up his training.

Like most puppies, Aster is currently teething and going through the nipping stage, so a home with older children is recommended.

You must have an adult dog in the home for companionship and play, and he is also great with cats.

Aster has a considerable overbite and his lower canines will need to be removed at 12 months of age.

Misaligned teeth can cause abnormal wear, plaque buildup, tooth decay, and early tooth loss. So Aster’s new family will have to monitor his teeth and gums as he grows.

💕Maeve is looking for her forever home in Victoria 💕

Maeve is a 10 year old Chinese Crested Powderpuff who arrived into care a couple of months ago and is now searching for a home of her very own.

Maeve is the sweetest little girl, she adores love and companionship.

Maeve loves pats and face rubs, she often will come up for extra pats and kisses throughout the day.

She may be 10 years old but she has a young heart, she gets extremely excited when you get home or when you wake up in the mornings, jumping and begging for attention with full on tail wags.

When Maeve is tired or overwhelmed with a situation she will just take herself away, often to one of the bedrooms or couches to have a nanna nap.

She is fantastic with cats and gets along with most dogs so long as they don't disrupt her naps.

Older children or no children in the home is best as she can be shy and weary around them.

We would love for Maeve to find a home where she can spend her days laying about, sunbaking, staring at birds and enjoying all the love she can get.

Maeve is ok on lead and will trit trot happily with you but is still getting used to the world so you will need to take things slowly for her to gain confidence.

Being a powderpuff she will need regular grooming, brushing and baths.
Maeve does get weepy eyes so daily wiping is needed.

Sanctuary girl Lana just enjoying herself doing her own thing.

We love seeing her cute little toy sessions.
It's adorable to watch 💜

Lana has a lot of Anxiety and quirks in her daily interactions.

She hates the colour Orange and will bark at anyone wearing it.

She has the cutest little happy dance where she begs for butt scratches and ear pats.

She loves to bark at her resident cat friends and waits patiently for treats.

Our girl is booked in to have her groom soon, as she is a big fluff ball now 😍

💙 Levi’s New Beginning 💙

As many of you may remember, Levi our special blind puppy was looking for his forever home.

Well, we are happy to say that Levi was adopted and he is absolutely thriving.

We couldn’t be happier for him and his wonderful new family. His mums, Mim and Trish, welcomed Levi into their beautiful home alongside their little boy, Frank.

From the very beginning, Frank and Levi formed the sweetest bond—playing, and bouncing around together.

Levi now spends his days full of love and adventure: playing with Frank, keeping his mum company while she works, enjoying daily walks by the lake, and heading out on special Sunday family adventures.

He even has his own pram for when he gets tired after being so brave walking blind on his walks—proof that nothing slows this special boy down.

Seeing Levi so happy, safe, and deeply loved in his new life truly means everything to us.

Thank you for giving Levi the forever family he so deserves. 💙

It’s World Day for Animals in Laboratories and our friends at Beagle Freedom Australia have launched their exciting, newly completed project, The Real Room. Created to help prepare ex-research animals for their new lives in a home environment.

Beagle Freedom Australia are the only rescue of its kind in Australia that rehabilitate and rehome ex-research dogs and cats. And they need your support to keep providing this vital service.

🩺 Vet Check-Up 🩺

Miss Jasmine had her routine blood test yesterday to monitor her renal disease.

While her creatinine levels were within the normal range, some of her other markers were elevated. As a result, we’ll be keeping a closer eye on her and monitoring things carefully moving forward.

Jasmine is already on a specialised renal diet, and so we will now be increasing her wet food and overall water intake to support her health.

She absolutely loves water—but true to her Groodle nature, it’s more about playing in it than drinking it! 😅 So, adding extra moisture to her meals will help ensure she stays well hydrated.

Our beautiful girl is such a little fighter, living each day with incredible s***k, energy, and sass. We will continue to do everything we can to keep her as happy and healthy as possible for as long as possible 💜

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at Community Vets for their ongoing care, dedication, and for always taking the time to answer every question we have ❤️

🩷 New beginnings for our sweet deaf girls 🩷

Blue (now Snow), Eclipse (now Elsie), and Lunar have all found wonderful families to call their very own.

Snow has settled into a loving home with her new big sister Willow, a fellow NBAR rescue.

Her family absolutely adores her and have loved watching her grow so quickly 😅
She and Willow are always playing, wrestling, and then curling up together for snuggles.

Elsie has also been welcomed into a beautiful, love-filled family — full of fun, play, and a little bit of cheeky mischief!

Alongside her big brother Fred (another previous NBAR rescue), she’s been busy digging holes and splashing in the water.

She’s mastered the doggy door, made friends with all her furry siblings, and her human sister is even teaching her new tricks.

Lunar has joined another one of our previous rescue families, with Noah (now Toffee), and is absolutely doted on. Toffee and fellow big brother Cinnamon have taken Lunar under their wings to ensure she get lots of playtime and snuggles.

Her human big sister is her best friend, always making sure she gets a cuddle whenever she needs one.

The girls new families have embraced their deafness with open hearts — learning how to train, praise, and support them without them hearing a single word 🥰

Lunar, Elsie, and Snow are truly living their best lives, and we couldn’t be more proud of our beautiful girls ❤️

💕Rune is looking for his forever home in Victoria💕

Rune is a 14 week old Mini Golden Retriever x Poodle puppy.

He has a gentle nature and a playful spirit. He loves his toys, playing with anything he can find and is a water baby.

He must have a doggy friend in the home to teach him the ropes. He is also good with cats.
