Will each of us one day start feeling old? What is the age when we no longer want to work and feel that it is time to just rest and let someone else worry about the practical things in your life?

Perhaps you are not of that age. But you might be asking yourself what that age is and whether you need to make an educated guess. And if you have thought of a figure for yourself you need to plan ahead of that figure. How long do you want to plan in advance? In the article below you will find an interesting story. Obviously, the person had not planned early and life surprised her with an unpleasant event that forced her to consider moving out of her home and into residential care. Which should be fine - only when it isn't... My plan is slightly different, I want to one day live in a community where people age at different pace and some would still be very young. I was privileged to live in such places and want to consider building one soon, preferably somewhere nearby. I am now looking for others who have the same intention - the framework can be a co-operative owned cohousing community or something similar. OldPain2Go is an evidence-based and well established method of reducing and/or removing chorinic pain.

WHAT is the science behind it?
Acute pain is addressed by treatment - once the injury is healed the pain disappears. However, in some cases it remains and if it is more than 3 months after the treatment then the pain is classified as chronic. There does not need to be a physical evidence for the pain to be present. If you are a keyboard warrior that is already gearing up to protest - think about the common type of chronic pain called pahntom limb syndrome, when amputees feel pain in a limb they lost in a war or an accident. Is there a leg or arm to hurt? No! Is the pain still real? Of course it is!

How does sit work?
OP2G is based on brain bargaining - a conscious negotiation with the emotional part of the person's mind to reduce the pain to a level which is acceptable to maintain a sufficient level of safety.

One of the most difficult challenges in a person's adult life is to do a good job as a parent. Those who are blessed to have a child often feel unprepared and lack confidence once their baby arrives. Why?

Regulations are in place, sometimes very strict, on all our activities that are potentially threatening to affect others. For example - we need to get a driving licence before getting behind a wheel of a car. We need to learn about food safety and demonstrate that we can apply minimum standards before opening a restaurant. We need to pass rigorous exams to become health professionals!

However, anyone in today's advanced and cautious society can parent a child, without any preparation or qualification. They take that child home and control them sometimes for up to 20 years, and can inflict untold trauma on them. Many times this is completely unintentional - they simply have no idea HOW TO PARENT a child well.

We cannot teach everyone about early childhood development, just like we cannot expect those who learn first aid to know all the science behind it. But there is also a technique that I sometimes like to refer to as the "First Aid" for mental health of children that parents can apply without learning about the psychology of early childhood. I listed 4 main reasons yesterday for school refusal, but obviously there are others - those personality issues that are more an exception than a rule, and undiagnosed disorders which might escape even the best trained professionals...
Still - when you start with satisfying the child's basic needs and parent them with a positive approach they will respond well and adjust their behaviour! I train parents to do jhust that using the Goulding Method - feel free to book a free assessment session and I will tell you what it involves. You might be surprised that you can learn it in one online session and then it takes less than 5 minutes per child to deliver!

Please share - this is becoming a real problem for parents and schools!

"Imagine if we were allowed to build our own houses" - and at affordable prices, perhaps utilising the vast amount of land that government owns and releases ever so slowly to developers to keep the prices and demand high.
Yes, I imagined that and felt there would be hope for those who cannot afford their own homes.
If a politician imagined that their feeling would be that of horror. Economic indicators down, profits of construction companies down, less income from their own property portfolio... OMG, they will not allow that to happen!

It is a HUGE problem in Australia, and I am sure elsewhere in the world too. It can be cause by problems at home or school, but it is often associated with ADHD, autism and anxiety disorders...

There is a housing crisis happening in Australia, even more so in big cities like Melbourne. One of the solutions would clearly be to take the communal approach and form co-operatives that could be supported by local government and allow them to build affordable housing as that would lower the price in comparison to have housing devleopment dominated by private developers. So I'm surprised that a charity that must know this from working with the disadvantaged and homeless, still places an ad for private sale of such suitable property to redevelop!
