Happy to introduce Desha Paranavithana to the Hastings Community House team! Desha is a qualified 20 yr experienced chef specialising in global cuisine. Desha kindly volunteers his expertise on Thursday's in our Community Kitchen, stocking up our freezers with nutritional gourmet meals. His next challenge will be to make meals for the kids attending Inspire Change Crew programs @ Shed 11. Desha travels to volunteer with us and we are chuffed with his support. Check out his YouTube channel Travel With Chef to see some of his creative recipes. 😀

Great catch up with Inspire Change Crew and some helpful teens this morning. Bindi and the Crew were on way to an excursion when we dropped in with a donation of snacks to keep the kids happy! After a car unpack & a quick pic the kids and crew were off to visit local Hastings businesses. Great innovative program's & vibe @ Shed 11 today. Thankyou Inspire for letting us participate.

A busy few weeks @ Hastings Community House! A quick arvo volunteering ( & testing toys ) @ Hastings Toy Library with the fantastic Claire and some cute local borrowers!
Followed by Christmas in July celebrations with the Hastings Happy Crafters group. Good food and conversation!
A quick check in with the Monday Musos who are mastering our new AI whiteboard to display sheet music & assist musicians learn new techniques. Thankyou to Zoe Mackenzie MP & Mornington Peninsula Shire for the funds to purchase the interactive whiteboard. 🫶🏼👌🤗

What to do on a rainy Tuesday 🤔
Well if you are the Hastings Hot Trotters you just keep walking!
Today's destination was the Hastings Community House for a cuppa and a natter. Its cold outside but warm in here, with a fresh morning tea & coffee's awaiting the group.
The Hot Trotters meet twice weekly @ The Hastings Foreshore BBQ area. Tuesday & Thursday from 9.00 am. Local walks and coffee spots are planned monthly and any level of fitness is welcome to join in.
Contact us for more details - no cost social exercise and wellness group with good people and lots of smiles. 🚶‍♀️‍➡️🚶‍➡️
