Catherine McAuley Services is hosting
an Art Show and Silent Auction on July 10th at The
Mercy Hub.

Contemporary artist Gabrielle Brinsmead has
generously donated a selection of her paintings for a
silent auction in support of the Mercy Papua New
Guinea Cookhouses Project.

This initiative helps provide access to clean drinking
water and safe communal cookhouses for remote rural
communities in Papua New Guinea—supporting dignity,
wellbeing, and everyday life in practical and life-giving
ways.

We are honoured to be the new home of “An Irregular Arrival” an impressive artwork reflecting the journeys of many refugees.

Every story matters, every story is unique, and together they shape the Australia we know today.

Laudato Si’ Week 2026 theme “From Hope to Action” invites us to move beyond awareness into care. 🌏💧

In May, we facilitated a workshop with Academy of Mary Immaculate students focused on deepening our relationship with Earth through water — the lifeblood that connects all creation.

Guided by reflection, story, and Indigenous perspectives, students were invited to see water as a living presence that sustains and unites us all.

It was a meaningful experience that fostered a deeper sense of belonging to the natural world and a shared responsibility to protect and restore the waterways and ecosystems that give life to our communities and our common home.

✨Something powerful is coming for migrant women in Melbourne✨

Have you ever felt like you’re carrying so much - navigating a new country, building a career, supporting family, and still trying to find your place?

You’re not alone. And you don’t have to do it alone.

Resilient Futures – Cultural Confidence & Connection for Migrant Women is a free, one-day experience designed to support migrant women to build confidence, strengthen resilience, and connect with others who truly understand the journey.

This initiative will be delivered by The Resilient Journeys, in partnership with Professional Migrant Women and Wellbeing Face, and supported by the City of Yarra.

✨ Practical workshops on resilience and cultural confidence
✨ Group coaching with an experienced psychologist
✨ Inspiring panel conversations with women leaders
✨ Connection with like minded women

On Earth Day 2026, we got our hands in the soil—repotting plants and refreshing our vertical garden 🌱

It was a simple, grounding way to pause and reconnect. Caring for these small living things reminded us that looking after the Earth starts with everyday actions🌏💚
