African Family Services (AFS)
We are a specialist service, non-profit organization established to serve African-Australian and CALD communities in Victoria. We provide early prevention and intervention support services (for family issues including promoting healthy relationships, youth support, mental health, social inclusion, career and community development) through educational workshops, outreach programs and case management. We also provide training to organizations to help them become more culturally aware and better prepared to assist CALD employees or clients integrate into Australian society.
We aim to advocate for African and CALD communities by bridging the gaps in existing support services. This ensures that the community can access services in culturally sensitive and safe environments.
