感恩您！

On Sunday, 4 October 2026, Tzu Chi Melbourne Liaison Office will hold a special “Mid-Autumn Reunion & Bamboo Coin Bank Homecoming” event at our office, together with a “Tzu Chi Melbourne 30th Anniversary Retrospective Exhibition.”

We sincerely invite you and your family to join us!

On this meaningful day, let us gather at the Tzu Chi Melbourne office to express our gratitude for Master Cheng Yen’s compassion and wisdom, and to reflect on the origins of Tzu Chi’s Bamboo Coin Bank movement.

We remember with gratitude the original thirty housewives, who began by saving just five cents a day. Through these small and sincere acts of giving, they demonstrated the spirit of “small savings can make a big difference”, allowing love and kindness to grow from one small coin bank into a movement of great compassion.

As we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and the joy of reunion, we warmly invite you to take part in the “Bamboo Coin Bank Homecoming”. You are welcome to bring your Bamboo Coin Bank back to Tzu Chi, or adopt a new one to continue this meaningful tradition.

Let us keep kindness flowing, nurture our good intentions, and turn every small act of giving into an ongoing practice of love and compassion.

Thirty years in Melbourne represents a journey of compassion, service and love, built step by step by many Tzu Chi volunteers and friends. We sincerely invite you and your family to join us for this special reunion, as we look back with gratitude, celebrate together, and continue the spirit of love and giving.
