Today Business Managers Victoria had the privilege of hosting a very special Life Members High Tea at the beautiful Hotel Windsor in Melbourne.

This gathering was an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the incredible individuals who have contributed so much to our association and to the Business Manager profession over many years. Their dedication, leadership and commitment have helped shape BMV into the supportive and respected community it is today.

Today we celebrate and recognise the incredible volunteers who make a difference in our Victorian state school communities, Network Leaders in their groups, and especially our dedicated BMV Committee of Management.

These volunteers generously give their time, knowledge and passion to support schools and colleagues across Victoria. Their commitment strengthens our profession, our networks and our ability to deliver the very best outcomes for schools.

What an incredible day we had at the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership celebrating the graduation of our ES Relief Program trainees. The day was filled with inspiring trainee reflections, heartfelt stories, and so much pride in everything our graduates have achieved. 🌟

We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our Business Partnership with Schoolfurn.

Tracey Smith, President of Business Managers Victoria, expressed gratitude and sincere appreciation to Schoolfurn for not only their renewal of a two-year term sponsorship agreement with BMV but also to increase it to a Tier 1 level.

The collaboration and willingness to implement a furnished networking lounge area at our Conference in May is testament to the support that Schoolfurn were are willing to provide to you our members to create a place to sit, relax and enjoy networking with colleagues at our major event.

We’re thrilled to announce that registrations are now open for our 2025 BMV Mentor Day sponsored by Bank First, taking place on Monday, 18 August 2025 at the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership.

This event is a unique opportunity for Business Managers working within Victoria state schools, with 0–3 years of experience to engage in a full day of professional learning and development, with an opportunity to meet your Network Leader or other like schools. The program is tailored to support your role and growth within your school community.

The day will feature expert presenters and practical sessions designed to strengthen your confidence and capabilities in your role.

The day is open to all Victorian state school Business Managers, however priority will be given to those with 0–3 years’ experience and current paid financial BMV members.
