The world feels a whole lot smaller when you’re part of the Skål family.

Last week, while attending the ATIA Beyond Borders event in Perth, our own Nicole O’Sullivan had the opportunity to catch up with members of Skål Perth and other travel industry colleagues.

One of the greatest benefits of being part of Skål isn’t just the connections you make within your own club. It’s knowing that wherever your travels take you, there’s a community of like-minded tourism professionals ready to welcome you.

Those connections often grow into friendships. Those friendships often lead to business. And those business relationships strengthen our industry as a whole.

It’s a great reminder that Skål is far more than a local networking group. We’re part of a global organisation built on doing business among friends, sharing knowledge, supporting one another and creating opportunities across cities, countries and continents.

Well…what a night! 🤩

Our Skål International Melbourne Trivia Night certainly didn’t disappoint.

There were laughs, plenty of friendly rivalry, a few “I’m sure that’s not the right answer!” moments and a room full of people coming together for something that matters.

Well done to the Nordic Noggins for taking out this years trophy 🏆

It was the incredible generosity shown by everyone in the room.

💙 Together we raised an amazing $2,200 for My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, with donations still open if you’d like to support this incredible cause.

A huge thank you to Stuba for proudly sponsoring the evening and helping make it all possible.

And to our brilliant quiz host from Quiz Meisters thank you for keeping us laughing, thinking and second guessing answers all night long!

One of the best parts of the evening was seeing so many new faces alongside our regular Skålleagues.

That’s exactly what Skål is all about, bringing people together, building friendships and having a good time while we’re at it.
