Double Iron Distance for Cancer On February 10, 2017, Peter is going to attempt Victoria, and possibly Australia's, first ever solo Double Iron Distance event in honor of his Mum.

A LITTLE BIT OF CONTEXT
On February 10, 2006 Peter Hudson lost his Mum to Bowel Cancer. He is trying to help create a ripple effect and raise awareness and funds for Bowel Cancer Australia and Cancer Council Victoria. Even the smallest ripple can turn into a wave. BUT THERE'S A PROBLEM
Nearly everyone has been affected by cancer in some way. So many have been diagnosed with cancer, others know a f

amily member or other loved one fighting this disease while others know someone who has unfortunately lost the fight. HERE'S WHAT WE'RE DOING ABOUT IT
On February 10, 2017, the 11th anniversary of his Mum's passing away, Peter is going to attempt Australia’s first double iron distance triathlon - 7.6km swim, 360km ride and 84.4km run. YOU CAN SUPPORT US
Peter is aiming to raise $50,000 towards cancer research. We are looking for donations, however small, as every dollar counts. We would love to see as many people as possible out on course cheering Peter on throughout the day, and evening. ONE LIFE LOST IS ONE TOO MANY
