- Provide young people with Muslims role models from university students or young professionals. Role- models that they can relate to
- Assist young people with setting and achieving goals
- Provide young people with help and guidance related to the development of their Islamic character and personality
- Enhance self worth in young people
- Provide young people

advice related to their schooling and career pathways
- Promote positive attitudes towards education and work
- Provide opportunities to participate in community activities; Educational and recreational activities
- Increase young people’s knowledge of the supports that are available for youth within the community
- Offer young people further opportunities and support through a mentee network
