Friends of Mentone Station and Gardens Inc. The group was formed to save the station gardens from becoming a bus interchange in 2002 and has continued to look after the precinct.

Amalgamated with Mordialloc District Historical Society Inc November 2025. The Friends conduct working bees every first Sunday of the month from 2pm until 4pm. Meet on the upside platform everybody welcome, afternoon tea supplied. For further information call 0417997712.
