Another Grand Prix is over and what a result!

Melbourne weather was Melbourne weathering, the crowds were crowding and drivers were umm… driving. Well some of them.

And clubMINI Vic was on show.

🎉 Happy New Year from Club MINI Vic!

We’re so excited to welcome in another year of great roads, friendly faces and plenty of MINI memories.

Whether you’ve been part of the club for years or have only just joined our page, we’re glad you’re here.

2026 is shaping up to be another fantastic year with our regular monthly drives, special events and plenty of chances to enjoy our MINIs together, with today the first drive of the year. And what a fantastic way to kick off the year with founding members, new members and all in between and some absolutely stunning weather.

Thanks to Ev Anz for taking the lead, Cheryl for taking tail-end Charlie and to everyone for coming on the journey.

What a fantastic day… wet roads and all!

Our 20th Anniversary Celebration kicked off with a spirited morning drive where even the storms and rain couldn’t dampen the MINI magic. A colourful convoy of MINIs still took to the roads, wipers working overtime and smiles even bigger.

We wrapped up the run with a delicious lunch featuring pizza, sliders and a celebration cake that didn’t last long. Add in great conversation and some fiercely fun trivia, and it was the perfect blend of what this Club is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and embraced the weather with a sense of adventure. And an extra special shout-out to all the helpers who worked behind the scenes to make the day run smoothly from start to finish.

Here’s to 20 years of friendship, motoring and MINI spirit. Bring on many more roads, many more memories and hopefully slightly less rain! 🚗💚🎉

🚗🎉 Celebrating 20 Years on the Road Together! 🎉🚗

Today year marks 20 years since the journey of our beloved ClubMINI began — and what a ride it's been!

What started as a small group of enthusiasts with a shared love for cars has grown into a thriving community of gearheads, weekend cruisers, track warriors, showstoppers, and lifelong friends. Over the past two decades, we've built more than just engines and custom rides — we've built memories, forged friendships, and created a special bond.

From meetups in parking lots to national road trips, from late-night mountain runs to early morning coffee catch ups, monthly drives, movie screenings and fish and chips, every moment has added to the legacy we proudly celebrate today.

To our founding members, thank you for laying the foundation.

To our newest members, thank you for keeping the spirit alive.

And to every member in between — thank you for making this club what it is: a community driven by passion.

Here's to the next chapter, the next mod, the next cruise, and the next 20 years!

At the AGM on Sunday we also celebrated our ClubMINI Person/s of the Year.

A massive congratulations goes out to our winners Alf and Dianne! 👏 👏 👏

Alf and Dianne take out the converted Mini trophy 🏆 after an amazing year where they participated in all but 1 of the monthly drives- what an achievement!

This month we headed up to Castlemaine and enjoyed some beautiful sights, great company and pub lunch.
