REAL TALK TUESDAYS šŸ’

If you’ve been thinking, ā€œWhy does everyone seem to be ahead of me?ā€ā€”this is your reminder:

Comparison has a way of making you overlook how far you’ve already come.

Someone else’s timeline is not a measurement of your worth. Their success doesn’t mean you’re failing, and their answered prayers don’t mean God has forgotten yours.

God didn’t create you to live someone else’s story. You don’t have to keep looking sideways when He’s asking you to trust the path He’s placed in front of you.

Your journey is yours. Your timing is yours. Your story is still being written. šŸ¤

Stop comparing. Start trusting. What God has for you doesn’t need to look like what He gave someone else. ✨

AT HIS FEET.

We’re always trying to get somewhere.

The next job.
The next open door.
The next achievement.
The next answered prayer.

And sometimes, without realising it, we can become so busy trying to build a life for God that we forget to simply be with God.

There’s a moment in Luke 10 where Jesus visits the home of two sisters, Martha and Mary.

Martha is busy preparing, serving, and making sure everything is taken care of. Meanwhile, Mary sits at Jesus’ feet, listening to Him.

Eventually, Martha becomes frustrated and asks Jesus to tell Mary to help her.

But Jesus responds:

ā€œMartha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better.ā€
— Luke 10:41–42

Martha was busy doing for Jesus.

Mary simply chose to be with Jesus.

And maybe that’s something we need to hear too.

In a world that constantly tells us to do more, achieve more, become more, Jesus invites us to come closer.

At His feet, we don’t have to prove ourselves.
We don’t have to have it all figured out.
We don’t have to bring anything impressive.

We can just come as we are.
Lay it all down.
And listen.

Because maybe the greatest thing we could ever accomplish isn’t reaching the highest place—

but finding ourselves at His feet.

ā€œIf the highest place I reach is at Your feet, then I’ve done it all.ā€

May we never become so busy chasing what’s next that we miss the One who is already here.

At His feet, we are exactly where we need to be.

REAL TALK TUESDAYS šŸ’

If you’ve been saying, ā€œI’m fine,ā€ even when deep down you’re not—this is your reminder:

You don’t always have to be strong. You don’t have to hide your tears or pretend everything is okay.

You can come to God exactly as you are. Bring Him the hurt, the confusion, the exhaustion, and everything you’ve been carrying quietly.

ā€œThe Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.ā€ — Psalm 34:18 šŸ¤

You don’t have to go through it alone. God is near, even in the moments when you don’t have the words.

Come to Him. He’s listening. šŸ•Šļø

REAL TALK TUESDAYS šŸ’

If you’ve been thinking, ā€œEveryone else is moving forward… why do I feel so left behind?ā€ā€”this is your reminder:

Comparison will make you question your journey, but God has never compared your calling to anyone else’s.

Just because someone else’s prayers are being answered doesn’t mean God has forgotten yours.

You’re not behind—you’re being prepared. God is writing your story at the perfect pace, and His plans for you are still good.

Keep trusting Him. What He has for you will come at the right time ✨

A Sunday filled with meaningful conversations, genuine fellowship, and reminders that God is always at work—even in the waiting. šŸ¤

Last Sunday at YA Hangout, we talked about Faith in the Waiting—learning that trusting God isn’t about having all the answers, but choosing to believe in His perfect plan and timing.

ā€œTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.ā€ — Proverbs 3:5–6

No matter what season you’re in, God is always faithful. Even when we can’t see what He’s is doing, we can trust that He is leading every step with purpose, grace, and love.

Thank you to everyone who came, shared openly, encouraged one another, and prayed together. May we continue to surrender our fears, let go of what we cannot control, and confidently place our future in God’s hands. 🤲

We can’t wait to hang out with you again soon. See you at the next YA Hangout! šŸ’™

REAL TALK TUESDAYS šŸ’

If you’re feeling tired—physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually—this is your reminder:

God doesn’t expect you to have it all together. Your weakness isn’t a sign that He’s left you. Sometimes, His strength is seen most clearly when you’ve reached the end of yours.

Rest in Him. He will carry what you were never meant to carry alone.

Don’t lose heart. The same God who sustains you today will give you the strength you need for tomorrow. šŸ¤

God’s silence doesn’t mean His absence. His delays don’t mean denial.

Your story is still unfolding, and His timing has never failed.

Don’t give up in the waiting. Your breakthrough might be closer than you think. 🌱
