'THANK YOU' to our amazing clients in helping achieve this HUGE milestone!

While 1.5M is a big number - it’s the 'BIG WHY's' behind the scenes that matters most.

WHY? - Because behind every meal is a person who deserves access to healthy food. With food insecurity continuing to put enormous pressure on 1 in 3 Australian households, the need for organisations like SecondBite has never been greater.

WHY? - Because we can keep reusable technology out of landfill. Australia generates enormous volumes of tech waste, with 22.8M tonnes sent to landfill in last year alone. Keeping tech in circulation longer, means reducing unnecessary waste.

WHY? - We believe ESG programs should be more than reporting & good intentions. They should create outcomes that everyone inside an organisation can see, understand and feel proud to be part of.

100,000 MEALS DONATED!

APA Group & PonyUp for Good have turned their retired tech & solar panels into a 100,000 meal donation MILESTONE, via those superheroes at SecondBite and we’re pretty damn excited about it!

Announced at the World Commerce & Contracting Conference last month - APA & PonyUp donated the final 2,251 meals, bringing the overall partnership totals to:

- 4,832kg of tech diverted from landfill
- 82.9% of tech reused - the highest collective reuse rate of any PonyUp client!
- 100,000 meals donated via SecondBite

A massive high-five to the APA team for being such brilliant partners and showing what’s possible when organisations bake their into their every day operations to create real and measurable impact - GiddyUp!

Yesterday, we were so chuffed to attend the launch of FareShare & SecondBite's brand new FARM in Dingley!

This incredible facility will triple annual fresh vegetable production, which is a major step in the fight against food insecurity across Australia, at a time when costs are rising and 44% of households are struggling to put food on the table.

Congratulations to the everyone involved and to all those who have so generously gifted and donated to make this happen. This is a HUGE WIN in getting fresh, nutritious food to those doing it tough… and just look at those beautiful pumpkins, ready to be turned into yummy winter soup - GiddyUp!

Service Stream has PoniedUp a HUGE Milestone!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Service Stream has surpassed 100,000 fresh meal donations for vulnerable Australians, since our partnership began in 2018!

Through this partnership, PonyUp for Good securely collects, data wipes and repurposes Service Stream’s decommissioned technology, with 50% of profits donated to food rescue charity SecondBite, providing fresh meals to people in need across the country.

Our collective milestone & impact to date:

- 15,392 kg of technology diverted from landfill
- 58.9% of Service Stream technology reused
- 102,747 fresh meals donated via SecondBite

It’s been a very big year in SO MANY ways - with recent events in Australia (and the world...) reminding us once again to look after each other…to put importance on our community, our loved ones, and to ensure we spend time with the people we love in meaningful ways, giving back where & how we can…

With your support in 2025, PonyUp surpassed our first major milestone of donating 1 MILLION MEALS to SecondBite for people struggling to put food on the table.

We have now diverted 707,662 kilos of technology from landfill, reusing 30.6 % of this.

With a special pre-Christmas donation of 25,000 Meals made this week to help support SecondBite with their amazing work during this very busy season, together our fresh meal donation has now reached 1,125,000 MILLION FRESH HEALTHY MEALS! A number we can all be very proud to be a part of!
