What a week. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’›

National Careers Week 2026 brought together schools, universities, TAFEs, employers, industry, career practitioners, high performance sport and communities across Australia to help people connect, create and thrive.

From career conversations and industry expos to workshops, panels, classroom activities and real stories of possibility, this week has shown the power of career development in action.

Thank you to everyone who hosted an event, shared a story, started a conversation, supported someone, opened a door or helped someone imagine what might come next.

Keep an eye on our social pages next week as we announce the dates for National Careers Week 2027 and the winners of the Jobs of the Future Card Game competition.

THRIVE looks different for everyone. ๐ŸŒฟ
For some, it is purpose.
For others, it is balance, belonging, confidence, wellbeing, or meaningful work.

This National Careers Week, pause and reflect:
โ€œWhat helps people flourish?โ€

When people feel supported, connected, and empowered, they are more likely to thrive in learning, work, and life. ๐Ÿ’›

Day 6 of National Careers Week Australia and the momentum just keeps rolling ๐Ÿ‘

Across the country, we have seen schools, employers, universities, community organisations, career practitioners and industry partners bringing career conversations to life.

๐Ÿ”— CONNECT through real stories, networks and community
๐Ÿ’ก CREATE pathways, possibilities and future opportunities
๐ŸŒฑ THRIVE through confidence, inclusion and meaningful work

And we are not finished yet. National Careers Week continues through to Sunday 17 May, so there is still time to reflect, share and celebrate how Australians are connecting, creating and thriving.

CREATE is about imagining what comes next. โœจ
Not just jobs.
Not just study.
But the future you want to build for yourself and the people around you.

This National Careers Week, reflect on the question:
โ€œWhat future are you building?โ€

Every conversation, opportunity, challenge, and idea can help shape a future filled with purpose, creativity, and possibility. ๐Ÿš€

CONNECT is often where career development begins. ๐Ÿ’ฌ
A teacher who believed in you.
A parent who encouraged you.
A friend who listened.
A mentor who opened a door.

This National Careers Week, take a moment to reflect:
โ€œWho has helped shape your journey?โ€

Career development is rarely a solo path. Connection helps people grow, explore possibilities, and find confidence in who they are becoming. ๐ŸŒฑ

Day 5 of National Careers Week showed Australia exploring careers together. ๐Ÿ’š

From classrooms to workplaces, expos to community spaces, students and adults have been connecting with people, creating new possibilities, and seeing what it means to thrive.

Across the country, one message keeps coming through clearly: every pathway matters, and career development starts with meaningful conversations.

Connect. Create. Thrive. ๐Ÿ’ฌโœจ๐ŸŒฑ
