Dear EAC Alumni and Friends,

It is with deep sorrow that Ethiopia Adventist College mourns the passing of its distinguished alumnus and former President, Mr. Leta Bedaso, on May 21, 2026. We are heartbroken by this sudden and painful loss. Ethiopia Adventist College has lost a remarkable leader whose impact on Adventist education in Ethiopia was profound and enduring.

Mr. Leta devoted his life to the growth and advancement of Adventist educational institutions in Ethiopia, particularly Ethiopia Adventist College. Through his visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and selfless service, he played an extraordinary role in shaping the institution’s development and mission. His legacy as a mentor, teacher, leader, devoted husband, and loving father will remain deeply engraved in our hearts and in the history of the College.

A Memorial Service in honor of Mr. Leta Bedaso will be held on May 24, 2026, at Ethiopia Adventist College.

May his life continue to inspire us in the service of humanity and for the glory of God. May he rest in peace until the glorious morning of the resurrection.
