Happy International Women’s Day 💜 Today we reflect on how proud we are to be part of the largest voluntary movement in the world dedicated to empowering girls and young women. Together, our advocacy and involvement is working to help 🌏🌏

WE ESCAPED 💪💪

If you catch us on the streets this week with our egos seemingly inflated, that’s because on Tuesday night, between nine of our Olaves, Kiama successfully conquered not one but TWO escape rooms at EscapeXperience!

As you might tell from the fancy dress, some Kiama members got to travel back to 1920s for ‘Burlesque’ while others survived a spooky medical episode in ‘Amnesia’.

Our critical thinking skills were obviously oozing out our brains as our team that tackled ‘Amnesia’ secured the fastest time within the past month 🤓🤓

Of course we had to celebrate with some froyo afterwards 😌

who needs a winery tour when you have emma’s garden?

this year, kiama subbed our usual winery tour for an afternoon wine bracket competition, tasting our way across the vineyards of australia and beyond 🥂

perks of the garden party setting included a glorious dip in the backyard pool and isobel being able to bring along a charcuterie board (10/10 btw) 😌

happy 2026 ! 🏳️‍🌈 on sunday morning some of our kiama members wore their sparkly rainbow best to join the contingent in the pride march 🌈 we were excited to be involved in such an amazing and important event ☺️☺️

there was lots to celebrate this week 🥳 not only was it kiama christmas 🎄 but also isobel’s birthday !! 🎂

no better way to wrap up the year than with some silly KK (bad santa edition 🤭), yummy food and of course being together our kiama olave besties 🥰 i’m sure isobel would tell you pavlova makes for a great birthday cake 😌

as mariah carey says, it’s timeeeee 🎄 and kiama has answered the call to begin spreading the christmas cheer now december is upon us ✨

there was no better way to spend olave this week than visiting the myer christmas windows 🫡🫡

Sometimes one night of olaves a week isn’t enough. Recently some of our Kiama members have been on some extra adventures 👀

👑 Princess Camp
Zoe and Isobel were royally excited to attend the Liverpool Olaves and Olave Program - NSW, ACT & NT Olave and Rover princess camp! The weekend included a ball, a day of royal activities and catching up with guiding and scouting friends old and new.

🍪 Joined night with Mordy Rover Crew
Recently Mordy Rovers invited us to attend their trivia baking night. We earned ingredients for our baking creations by answering trivia questions. The baking was questionable, but we were glad to come together for a fun and silly evening!

Last night Kiama held a packing party for the Share the Dignity campaign 👜

We're helping to achieve this years' goal set by Olaves around Australia. That is, for Girl Guides to donate 800 bags of essentials and period products for women and girls experiencing homelessness and domestic violence this Christmas. We're proud to share we've put together 60 bags, including 3 teen bags and 5 mum and bub bags! 💜

A massive thank you to the Girl Guides and their families from the Monash District, participants from our Trivia night earlier this month as well as our friends and family, who collected and donated 513 items for inclusion in our bags 🥰

We'd like to provide a special shout out to everyone that attended our Trivia Night 🫶 As a result of our fundraising efforts, we were able to purchase 207 additional items required to complete 60 bags. The success of our Trivia Night has allowed us to make a greater impact, and we're grateful for the support of everyone that attended 🥹

Yayyy we have some new official members of Kiama !!💜 Last week we had a promise ceremony to welcome Isobel, Moara and Jocelyn to our peer group 🥰

Rivalry, excitement and plenty of surprises along the way - that was kiama trivia night!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an incredible night of fundraising and fun! We were thrilled to have so much support, including many donations brought for the Share the Dignity It's in the Bag appeal on the night. Let's not forget to congratulate the Brainy bunch on their extraordinary win 🏆 🏆
