Today, August 1st, is the 82nd Anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. Today, the streets will stand still all over Poland as Poles remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who fought in the Warsaw Uprising. They died young! They died bravely! Their unwavering hope in the face of overwhelming odds will never be forgotten. Lest we forget.
We also remember that many of the survivors settled in Melbourne, and we also pay our respects to their families
