The day to day management of the office is performed by a five-member volunteer Steering Committee. It is a distribution and retail centre for literature sales of conference approved materials, and operates a 24-hour phone service to assist those seeking help with alcohol, and is linked to the 1300 22 22 22 national AA phone service. The office also serves as a communications centre for participating groups, arranges social and fundraising events, responds to public information requests about AA and furnishes speakers for schools and non-AA organisations. A monthly mail out is sent to groups providing AA event updates and FREE meetings books. The office is solely manned by Volunteers from supporting groups around Victoria and 100% of your personal and group contributions support the services provided.
