The Freedom Initiative (TFI) is a Maroondah-based, not-for-profit entity that provides emergency relief to those in our local area facing hardship. Primarily, TFI provides quality and nutritious staple foods, fresh fruit, meat and hygiene products to people in need. But we’re more than a food bank. We want to see individuals and families free from the causes and impacts of financial hardship, rela
tionship breakdown and loneliness. At the heart of TFI is a passion to connect and engage with people from all walks of life. Our friendly team members are here to be a support and listening ear in nay way we can. We create space for people to share their stories - leading to real and regular conversations - so we can bridge the gap of isolation through our community hub. This is all because we believe we're not made to do life alone. Everyone is valuable, everyone has a story and everyone is empowered to make positive changes in their lives when they’re connected to others. We’re The Freedom Initiative.
