What. A. Weekend. 🚀🇭🇷

The 2026 VCCC STEMM Summit has wrapped, and our young Croatian-Australians brought serious brainpower. 🧠✨

Here’s what went down:
🎤 Talks on AI and large language models
🧬 A session that asked “Can you really edit a memory?” (we’re still thinking about it)
🖨️ A 3D printer whirring away and showing everyone what the future looks like
🤝 Round-table sessions where students worked side by side with mentors and industry pros
🍽️ It all kicked off Friday night with our Industry Dinner at The Hotel Windsor. Steven Pecotic, CISO of Google Australia, gave the keynote, and his advice was spot on: focus less on job titles and more on doing your best work. The opportunities will follow.

Huge congratulations to our 2026 STEMM Challengers. You’re the reason we do this! 👏 This is the program’s FIFTH year, and the theme says it all: Connecting Minds, Creating Futures ❤️🤍💙

A massive hvala to our speakers, mentors, sponsors, volunteers and families, and to FG Mladi Hrvati for welcoming everyone with your incredible voices.🎶 And to Monika Buljan and Kate SimunicCuic who do the doing for this incredibly important program for our youth.

Next stop? 👀 The 2027 STEMM Challenge and Summit + the 2028 STEMM Summit and Study Tour… in CROATIA. 🇭🇷✈️ Stay tuned!
