We had 794 finishers and 41 volunteers at our today. Congratulations to Daniel who celebrated his 18th birthday and 250th parkrun this week. Daniel has also volunteered on 60 occasions.

𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀

In event no. 702 there were 802 finishers and 47 marvelous volunteers. Well done to everyone. There were 212 first timers comprising 170 first-time visitors from other parkruns and 42 finishers completing their first-ever parkrun. 127 people recorded personal bests. Representatives of 62 different clubs took part.

Congratulations to Andrew BARLOW on volunteering for the 50th time. Andrew volunteers once for every 4 finishes; his most prolific volunteering roles are timekeeper and barcode scanner. Thank you Andrew for your terrific contribution to our parkrun community.

Congratulations to Janie SWEENEY on completing 250 parkruns including 205 at Albert Melbourne. Janie began parkrun 10 years ago and she has participated in every year since. Well done Janie.

Congratulations to Karkarook parkrunner Matthew CARLIN on completing 250 parkruns. Matthew is a keen parkrun tourist having participated in more than 50 different parkrun venues. Thank you Matthew for choosing Albert Melbourne for your milestone event.

🌴🪚 Our starting Palm trees have gone! Sadly they were diseased. So it was a very different feel at the start of . It was, though, a beautiful morning. We had 802 finishers and 47 volunteers.
